Aims and Objectives of the course
•    To have a good understanding of the principles of risk practice and how to apply these in the CARM process 
•    To understand how risk assessment tools identify strengths and vulnerabilities and how they are incorporated into risk formulation. 
•    To be able to develop effective risk management planning and risk reduction  
•    To consider the importance of upholding children's rights in risk practice in the CARM process and think about what this looks like in practice
 
Target group 
Ideally those who attend this course should: 
• Be involved (or likely to be involved in the future) in case management responsibility for cases where risk management measures are in place or will likely be in place for under 18’s; 
• Or be involved in supporting and delivering services to under 18’s where risk management measures are in place or will likely be in place.
