Pockets of Play

Each session will examine in detail the design, organisation, and materials of each zone with the children’s interests and learning in mind. It is vital that the play materials are located in such a way that children can make informed choices and connections in their learning. Examples will be shared with reflective questions to support practitioners to implement changes linked to how young children learn.

Each session is suitable for anyone working in early years -early childcare to primary 3.     

- 2nd May - ‘The Creative Zone’
- 16th May - ‘The Discovery Zone’
- 30th May - ‘The Social Zone’
- 6th June - ‘The Outdoor Zone’
