Additional ItemsMore InformationAccording to the training manual, “the START-Av tool is designed to be used by a range of professionals, such as case managers, nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, probation officers, social workers, and other professionals in justice and mental health settings. Only use the START-AV if you have experience working with adolescents, such as through formal training, continuing education, and/or professional practice.” CYCJ therefore recommends that the START:AV tool is only used by workers with a professional qualification. Where this is not possible, we recommend that non-qualified staff using this tool are supervised by someone with a suitable level of training and experience. If you are not able to meet these requirements you should not undertake this training. Registration on this course indicates that you have organisational commitment to use the START:AV assessment and that you have access to a START:AV User Guide/Manual for the training and for future assessments. Please allow sufficient time for ordering and delivery. Please also see our Cancellation Policy. | |||||||||||||||
