Routes to Responsible Roots

Client onboarding begins with the first point of contact and continues until research formally starts. Ethical practice is important from the outset: a researcher’s marketing, website, and credentials shape a potential client’s first impression.

The talk will explore key stages of onboarding, including informed consent and the rights and responsibilities of both client and researcher. It will also consider identifying and managing potentially sensitive topics before the research process starts.

This talk will be held online from 18.30-19.45 BST. A recording will be available to participants through the 18th of August 2027.

A recording of the talk can be purchased through the 16th of August and will be available through the 18th of August 2027.
