Advancing Genetic Genealogy

Description

Advancing genetic genealogy: how the past is informing the present through revolutions in genetic research, an international academic conference

On the 7th and 8th of June 2024, attend the Advancing Genetic Genealogy conference at the University of Strathclyde. The conference will be interdisciplinary in nature, with a particular focus on the themes of autosomal DNA and Y-DNA, as well as on bioarchaeology, genetics and investigative genetic genealogy, emphasising their importance and value to the field of genetic genealogy.


On the 7th of June 2024, visit the Forensic Genomics Laboratory at the Centre for Forensic Science at Strathclyde to have a behind-the-scenes look into some of the laboratory processes that make this novel method of Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy possible.
