This course is designed for: (a) Engineering professionals who are planning to change their career, (b) Industrial professionals active in the field of aircraft electrification and willing to expand their knowledge, (c) Industrials interested in familiarizing themselves with recent advances in aircraft electrification.

This course is designed to provide the delegates with an introduction to the application of hydrogen as a fuel or as coolant, as well as superconductors for future aircraft. The course will include both the fundamental theory and operational principles of using hydrogen and superconductors. The challenges associated with incorporating hydrogen and superconductors into future aircraft together with their performance in comparison to battery and jet fuel will be discussed. The course will discuss different scenarios for hydrogen use in future aircraft including fuel cell and combustion engine scenarios. The benefits of using superconducting motors, fault current limiter and cable in future more electric aircraft will be discussed.
